BIG Monday - OSPI on HS materials Dan on KIRO with Dave Ross

Monday May 4, 2009 may well be remembered as Big Monday for Seattle Math.

Michael DeBell mentioned that this HS adoption gives the district a chance to change direction. He advocates changing direction. So do I. We need a huge Seattle Math Makeover.

Monday OSPI will issue the press release I've been waiting for.... the HS math recommendations. Hopefully this will provide the moral fortitude for board members to vote against MG-J.

I am going to be interviewed from my classroom by Dave Ross on his show Monday in the 10 AM hour. We will be talking Seattle Math text adoption politics. 97.3 FM.

Hopefully it will be a really big Monday and will influence some votes Wednesday night.
