I believe the school board members whom rationalized their decision based on following process should be asked to change this thinking. The school board is the ultimate decision making body for a school district and thus should research all the opinions and then make their own decision. Why abide with process if you disagree with the decision based on other good information? A board has the power and responsibility to make these tough decisions. Committees have been known to be wrong.
