Teach Math and/or the WASL ??? .............but What about the SAT ???

This is from a High School Junior who took the WASL and then the PSAT. Danielle has concerns about the real tests that count: The SAT and The ACT.

From the letters in the Tacoma News Tribune.

Danielle Rucci of Gig harbor said ..
"The type of math on the PSAT is very different from what we are taught in class.

Classrooms shouldn’t be putting as much time into teaching WASL strategies when other tests such as the SAT and ACT can have a much bigger impact on our futures."

Its called micromanagement and its also racist. Government is more concerned about excluding Latinos from the education process than they are about putting kids in college. Conservatives would love to privatize public education. What better way to do it than give them useless textbooks and tell the teachers not to teach the kids, since all learning is now self-paced. A is for arrogance. R is for royalties. Blame Project 2061, MAA, and the NSF - race haters.
