How can any group allow the continuation of this??? The Seattle Central administration continues to promote the materials and instructional models that produced this disaster.

To improve a System requires the intelligent application of relevant data.

You have to prove a connection between your data and the math programs. That's difficult. In addition, the colleges of miseducation will have their own studies to show exactly the opposite - training teachers benefits test scores.

Its the process that you ought to change - its not impossible, and you stand a better chance of success. Public voting is my best advice. SPS will have to drop their math plan if the community adopts something else.

NMAP certainly declares what needs to be done.
