Federal Way seriously under-performing

No wonder the public is upset.

WA grad rate in now #43 down from #39 ten years ago.
That would be great if we had 1000 states but at last count there are only 50.

The good news is we have lots of upside potential; the bad is lack of apparent leadership.

The CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) used to find graduation rates should be published in its separate parts - it would provide more clues as to where the largest percentage of students are dropping out of school. It is more costly to provide interventions, the earlier that students leave high school.
